Why I am going to flip
The flipped classroom model is growing in librarianship as a teaching model for credit courses and non-credit workshops. In most cases, librarians provide non-credit workshops; however, at UAF librarians teach a one credit library science course. The LS 101 courses are six weeks, while the non-credit workshops are 15 to 45 minutes once a semester to provide information literacy concepts. The flipped classroom model allows students to learn core concepts prior to a hands-on LS 101 classes or workshops.

What I Expect from Flipped Classroom
I expect students will develop information literacy skills to apply to all their courses.
